The MCWs
It was a MaysConleyWeitman day. And gosh, I do miss days like these. So much. Everything we did, everywhere we went, we were together. Just how I remember it. Even the small things in life are a joy with my family. Yes, and that means the DOL is too. We started off our Tuesday with a visit to the licensing department; Mom finally and officially is a Weitman (and has the paperwork to prove it!). Haha. She's so cute. And her license picture is too! Not surprisingly, this mob of redheads found a way to make this mostly brutal and grueling time of waiting, a fun one.
This could be on a Starbucks billboard. Pretty girl. Handsome man. Hunter and Shelby claimed the back seat as we drove to The Davenport for some yummy lunch. Of course, we had to make a brief pitstop, and they took 15 bucks of my money. Darn Starbucks. Get control of your prices! Haha.
Meet Kinsey. Head chef of the Davenport Kitchen. He's kind of a big deal. And we kind of know him. And Ellie kind of dates him. And he kind of rocks.
After a quick run to the mall with Mama, where she coerced me into purchasing a few items (love shopping with Mama!), it was time for P90X. And look who decided to join me! YES, that's Ellie! Miss Priss at her finest! ;) She. Did. Amazing. Full emphasis, completely necessary! Today was Plyometrics - the world's worst workout - and she busted her tail through the entire thing! I am so proud of her! She was a trooper, and surprisingly, a great workout partner. Yes, that's Ellie in the picture, and no, that's not a typo! I'd workout with her everyday if I could!
And finally, our day winded down in true MCW fashion - all together, talking, laughing, and fighting. This is what I came home for. This is exactly what I love. And I can't believe how much I've missed the natural comfort I feel when I'm around them. It was a perfect day. The only thing to make it better? Adam, Dad, and Jake.
Miss you boys!
(Sleep good tonight, Adam. XOXO)
