The Project Life Overhaul
When I started this Project Life...project...my intentions were to attack it on two fronts: first, this blog, and second, my PL photo album. Well, I can proudly say that in 176 days, I have yet to miss a single post to my website. The physical photo album though? Let's just say I was severely behind before today. This whole idea of taking a picture for 365 consecutive days is one from Becky Higgens, who developed a sort of "kit," enabling a simple scrap booking technique. I was given my album as a wedding gift from The Swenson Family (Adam's WSU pitching coach), after expressing tremendous excitement at the multiple albums that Diane Swenson has completed. Hers are fabulous, and I'm determined to get on track and stay up-to-date on mine, so that one day, I can watch my family page through it with smiles, just as her family does. I took a flash drive, armed with over 250 pictures on it (some from the wedding), to Walgreens, where I enjoyed 55% off my purchase!! Wahoo! I LOVE Walgreens deals! When I finally got them home, I immediately got to work, searching through my online journal to help me with my physical one. Seriously, this is my therapy. And I didn't even realize it! Tomorrow, I'll begin writing on the small inserts, detailing each day as I've done on the blog. This is probably the neatest project I've ever done, and I can't wait to watch it grow as Adam and I travel through the rest of this year together. Oh, and I got a new scarf too. It rocks. And one more oh. Adam and I made a new chicken cajun pasta recipe tonight. Thanks Grama. It rocks.
