The Autographs
One thousand of anything is a lot. Embracing the hand cramp, Adam dedicated part of the stormy Florida afternoon to completing 1,040 autographs which will be placed on baseball cards. Knowing he'd need a little boost, he requested two simple things: food and coffee. And what my husband wants, he gets! I made a fresh pot of french vanilla coffee and whipped up a delicious batch of fatty cinnamon rolls! He ate three, ignored the coffee, and diligently completed his task. As was assigned, on his ten last autographs, he personalized them with a quote. When I finally took a look at his day's work, I was met with a smile. His last sticker woke up the butterflies again.
