The World of Music
A Saturday Around-the-World strings performance topped off our weekend!
Each musician picked a piece of music from a different composer, located their country on the map, shuffled through a pile of cards to find their flag, and then found that same flag on the wall before they got to perform!
Berarett played "Long Long Ago" by English composer Thomas Haynes Bayly.
Molly performed "Twinkle Twinkle Variations" by Japanese composer Shinichi Suzuki.
Amelia played "Minuet 3" by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
And last but not least, our shy(?!!) Ella Mae performed another piece by Japaese composer Shinichi Suzuki called, "Perpetual Motion."
It was a wonderful performance! Bravo, Conley Babes!
