The Disney Performance
Everybody, eat quickly, try not to make a mess...we have a performance to get ready for!
Uh, Mom?
Too late!
Dressed and ready, we made it to our performance!
The children have been practicing several Disney songs over the past couple months (Chim Chim Cheree, It's a Small World, Feed the Birds) and Saturday, their hard work was put on display.
The three princesses and Robin Hood played beautifully; I'm still in awe that fingers so small can remember so many pieces! The Lord has put a capacity in the mind of a child that often, I really underestimate. Watching them learn the language of music has helped to open my own mind to the reality of just how much a child is capable of. They are learning and emulating at nearly every second. I would do well to remember this in the day to day moments of life alongside my babes, as they hopefully see my love for the Lord and service to Him as the definition, pursuit, and hope of my life.
