The Chloe Tree
December 5 and it was finally time to pick ourselves a Christmas tree! So, we visited a local farmers market to choose the perfect one.
Turns out they were charging $170 for a 7 foot tree.
Yeah, ok thanks, no chance.
Surely inflation hasn't gone up that much, right? Weren't they like $70 last year?!!
Yep! Yes, they were. I'm not crazy!
So, we left the farmers market without a tree and found a local nursery instead. There, we discovered the most perfect tree--who's name they had given Chloe (they name all of their Christmas trees!!). We picked her out,
they packaged her up, and we put her up in our cozy home.
For regular, non-inflation price.
