Day 4,199

(and He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors, and some as teachers, for) THE equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-13

Our Twomblys.
This was their last Sunday at CBC before being "sent" out to finish up their training and preparations for missionary life in Papau New Guinea.

Our whole church and lots of friends gathered to witness and to celebrate the ordination of Bryan, who's family he's taking to the base of a mountain range as a pastor in PNG to aid in the work of a ministry called Finisterre Mission (https://www.finisterremission.org). This ministry is currently laboring to support and plant faithful local church bodies on the island and even into the jungles of the Finisterre Mountain Range.

It was a beautiful night and one we won't soon forget.
Bryan's faithful, consistent, day-in and day-out, ordinary yet extraordinary labor has had such an incredible impact on our church and community and his local church body will miss him and his family dearly. His wife has become such an integral member of CBC--especially in the women's ministry--and one of the sweetest, truest, deepest friendships I've ever experienced. I am continually thankful to the Lord for her example of obedience in Godly womanhood, for her raw, honest love, for her ability to ask really good and hard questions, for her care that feels nearly like a balm, for her love of the Scriptures, and for her most precious sense of humor that I will forever cherish.

We will miss you immeasurably.
We will pray for you continually.
We will trust the Lord in whatever He would have for you.
And we will be awaiting those most special texts and phone calls with great anticipation and joy.
Bryan and Kerra and you three little babes, we love you. So so much.
What a blessing you've been in the lives of so many. We're looking forward to seeing and participating in how God will use your faithful obedience in the days and years ahead.

My friends, just like Mr. John said, "Faint not in well doing."
