The Sweet Summer Sunday
When capping off the rest of morning’s slumber during Sunday school, this is the coziest spot available.
Ella Mae, you are a treasure. You’ll never know until you’re holding them in your arms, just how special moments like these are to a mama of growing chicklets. I hope you let me hold you like this forever.
Sundays are particularly special to us—they’re set apart unlike the other days of the week as a day unto the Lord. From the morning until the early afternoon, we’re learning and studying God’s word while worshipping alongside other Believers. We then head back to church for a separate evening service in order to continue learning about our God on this special set-aside day. Sometimes though, evening service is cancelled, and so on this Sunday, we took the babes and the pup to our tiny private beach down the road and enjoyed His beautiful creation on a warm summer evening.
And Bearett wanted me to take a picture of his new books from the homeschool book sale, where he personally selected and paid for these gems. Ha! He’s incredible.
