Day 4,079

The CCA Field Day

At the end of a hard testing week: FIELD DAY!
Since the children were invited to participate in the school’s testing week, they were also invited to share in their Thursday play day, which was wholly deserved! And they loved it! Great job, kiddies! For never having taken a test before, they did such a great job and now we can move onto submitting their yearly homeschool evaluations. It’s hard to believe that we’re nearly finished with 3rd and 1st grade already!

While the big kids had their own special play day, the littles once again enjoyed a special day of their own. Not more than 8 minutes from us, we found a tiny and secluded little beach that is completely perfect in every way for our family! We’ll be spending many an afternoon here in the future.

In other news, I asked Adam to tear down the glass sliding doors even though the shower isn’t enclosed by a bathtub. I’m quite happy with this decision. And by quite I mean: REALLY happy. Good riddance! Now, all she needs is a new mirror and some sort of shelving unit and she’ll be good as new!
