The Ugly Yellow-Brown Farewell

My mommy arrived the night before Ella Mae's birthday, and in just a day in a half, she had us set on re-painting all of the trim, shutters, and the front door of our cottage. She even picked out the paint and brought it home with paintbrushes ready to go. 

And so, we painted!!! And we got the whole entire family in on it! 

What a blessing it is to have such a go-getter in the home to spur me on to completing projects sooner than I otherwise would! Thank you, Mama!!

Meanwhile, Daddy's compost bin structure is nearly finished! He spent maybe $150 on everything pictured, finding free pallets all over the city and recycling them to create this beauty! Well done, Papa Bear!

And since painting the front of the house wasn't enough, she went ahead and replanted my entire garden!!!

You're the best, Mama!!



Then, it was back to Taekwondo for our regular Wednesday afternoon kicking and punching session!

This time, we got to show off to Grandma.



And we did just that :)
