The Classical Conversation
Tuesday, we tried something completely new. A friend of ours is the director of a homeschool co-op group called Classical Conversations. She invited us to participate in their community day, where all the children and moms get together to go over the curriculum for the week. Our children were each able to attend class and they were so happy to do so.

It was fun and exciting to see homeschool in a different context and experience. We appreciate their enthusiasm and closely bonded community aspect, while at the same time, it was encouraging to us in our own curriculum and homeschool pursuits. We know there’s always more we can be doing, but seeing the fruits of our curriculum as Bearett stood in front of the class and gave a 15 minute presentation of all the missionaries he’s learned about this year—it was a blessing to this Mama’s heart. Homeschool is such a joy for us but it’s not always easy. Tuesday, we got to see a little bit more of the forest and not just the trees and what an encouragement it was.
