Day 4,030

The Tiny Tornados

Farewell Tire Kingdom.
We had a busy week at the Property, with all the new planting happening and alongside the preparing for our church’s Father-Son camping trip. It was a kindness from the Lord watching it all come together in perfect timing for the boys’ evening together. My heart has softened toward the expectation and use of our Property, as God is teaching me that everything I have is in fact, for His purposes and from His own hand. That I would complain that it’s not gone the way I had envisioned is incredibly near-sighted and I’m thankful for all God’s done through this Property to reveal sin in my own life, creating a heart in me that desires to trust Him and His ways more than my own.

Without further delay or any tires in your way, welcome, gentlemen!

…meanwhile, back at home…

…it was as though a small but mighty tornado had run through our home.
 At least they’re adorable.

It was, however, nothing compared to the tornado of excited and happy camping boys that overtook the Property Friday night. And WHAT a blessing it was being able to sneak a peak through Daddy’s pictures of all the fun these two had with the men and sons at CBC. We are so grateful for such an intentional church body…and for super dirty boys :)
