The Messy Transformation
Real life: Cottage transformation.
We’ve never done anything quite like this before and though my kitchen is incredibly compact, small, and completely disheveled at the moment, we’ve made SO much progress!
Unfortunately, that’s the story just about everywhere you turn at the moment. Everything has to be done in specific order; problem is that you can’t get one thing done until you complete the 7 steps before that. So currently, I have a closet right in the middle of the living room. Who says no?
And as we unpack, repack, and find things we just don’t need, the outdoor carport is beginning to look a bit questionable. I’ll have to let my neighbors know that I promise it won’t always be this…messy. But did you notice? NO MORE SUITCASES!! Get out of my sight!
I literally am not kidding: when I said everything has at least seven steps in front of it to complete the task, I wasn’t exaggerating. This was all taken apart and put back together for two Christmas bins, some tools, and school books.
But even though we’re a wee bit out of sorts at the moment, we’re maintaining as much normalcy as possible. Part of that normalcy is our weekly Tuesday practices with our Suzuki violin teacher! The kids are learning such an impressive amount—and loving it!
And finally, our Christmas tree to add to the normalcy!
