Day 3,653

The Tenth Anniversary! 

*It's 2:50AM Wednesday morning. I haven't had a working phone for parts of three days now and I'm currently packing up the most recent AirBnb to move out today at 10AM. I had this plan of writing all about our last ten years (not that this blog hasn't sufficiently and succinctly outlined it with quite detail already haha), but turns out, this very specific and monumental moment in our lives has sort of just passed over itself in all the "normal" insanities of everyday baseball life. Adam is currently in Toronto, Canada, we spent our tenth anniversary apart while he was in Detroit, MI, and the day after 9/10, my phone was splashed by a gigantic wave at the beach and is now completely ruined. SO, I'll update on the celebration of our Tenth when we end up celebrating it...in December! But here's a little look-in to what the day of my Tenth Anniversary--and subsequently my tenth year of consecutive daily blog posts (three thousand six hundred and fifty-three days in a row!)--looked like:

I was surprised by a special delivery from Edible Arrangements(!), in which my children immediately took off with Edi Bear and ate my half of the cheesecake when my back was turned. Thank you, Molly the Ankle Biter Conley. At least I got some chocolates!

And pretty flowers too!

We spent the day at the pool with our friends.

Watched a lightning storm.

Screamed for Daddy when he went in to pitch!

And smiled the second we got to see that handsome face for just a little more time before bed.

He is so easy to love.

And I am so thankful he's mine.

What an incomprehensible and incredibly generous gift I was given in a husband. 

I can't get over just how special he--and these last ten years with him--are to me.
