The Visit From Home
Our people came to visit us on Thursday! I could cry. Really. It is so good to be back in Florida. And not only did they come to visit, but they came to love on us and to serve. I had about 7 loads of laundry to fold—the suitcases got soaking wet from our drive to Tampa, coupled with all the dirty clothes we’d made since being here—so they loaded the kids up and took them to the pier on Thursday!
They watched fish, went to the playground, ate snow cones, rode a trolley, splashed at the splash pad, and took just as many pictures doing it all!!

,

We love you and we’re constantly so grateful for the church body God has knit us together with. It was everything we needed in the moment and made us even more excited to be back in Florida and home again with our people.
Laundry: check!

Another inning pitched and two Ks: check!
Rays win: check! (They’re winning their division currently!)
And before our friends left, we got to enjoy one more meal together…

…with just about the best kids menu we’ve ever seen!

Love y’all! Can’t wait to visit home this week!
