The Mom Needs a Nap
Daddy’s gone: move the bed. I’m not sure I’ll ever change my mind about the kids sleeping in my bedroom when Daddy is away. I suppose time will tell, but for now, this is how we roll: two kids with me, two kids on the mattress on the floor and a nightly rotation sleeping next to Mom among the older three. Works for us and we love it. And after the last 48 hours of piled on disappointments, failed plans, new realities, huge surprises, and a resolve to trust the Lord with it all…I can’t imagine any other place I want to be than cuddled up tight with all my babes. That is unless of course, Daddy were here!
