Day 3,605

The Couch Bums

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is happening! And he can’t put it down! Adam and I listened to it with him on Audible and now he’s reading it all by himself. This yet-to-be third grader is a page turner and would happily sit with his nose in a book all afternoon if you’d let him! I think he read something like 6 chapters during nap time this day. Pretty great, Bearett!

We took another day to recuperate. The kids were congested and run down, so we stayed home and rested up. Thankfully, even though we didn’t get to go to the game and see the fireworks there, we just had to walk outside our back door and there they were again! 



And while we waited for Daddy to walk home, we chased bugs and caught them to keep as momentary pets! Ladybugs and rollie pollies to be exact.
