Day 3,603

The Mini Happy Bulls

When your day starts like this, you know that you know it’s going to be a good one.

And it was! We started it off at our friends house—the first friends we made in Durham and the same ones we went strawberry picking with. It was such a joy and encouragement to spend the afternoon with them. They love Jesus and their peaceful home pointed to Him at every turn. The Lord continues to graciously fill our days with kindnesses like this and we are so grateful.

But we’re pretty tired too. At this point, I maybe should’ve called it a day, as later that night the kids were feeling exhausted and beginning to show signs of being run down.

We just couldn’t help ourselves though. Daddy was scheduled to pitch early in the game and everyone was looking forward to it. And just as we walked into the stadium, the kids were asked to participate in the Mini Wool E. Bull parade!

So the big kids got all dressed up!

And they marched around the stadium!

We love you, Wool E. Bull!

And we love you, Daddy!

Go Bulls!
5 strikeouts in 2 innings, good job Papa Bear!
