The Norfolk Tide

I accidentally booked our Airbnb a day short. So Sunday night, we stayed up till 2 packing our third story apartment and by Monday morning at 11, we were out of there and on our way as a family to Norfolk, Virginia. This was our first stop. 

Needing to stretch, we walked out the three hour car ride with some of the most fascinating exploring we’ve done!

And discovered among other things, that not only are we in one of the most historic places in all the country, but that mermaids are placed all around the city for people to find and enjoy!
