The Evergreen Gymnasts
Wednesday: the perfect day for gymnastics in Spokane with our cousin! It was Monroe’s first time and though everything was new and big and different from anything she’s ever experienced, I think we may have made a gymnast out of her!
Long ago, I was a gymnast in Spokane and did it for quite a large portion of my life. The relationships I created back then are still ones easily recalled in my memory, and Wednesday, I got the chance to walk down that lane again. My original plans were to take my kids to the gym I grew up in, but about a year ago, it was sold to a new owner and they’re not currently accepting new or visiting gymnast. So I called the other gyms in the area and found this one, thankfully! It’s a beauty and it’s run so well, and turns out, I did team gymnastics at NWGA with the owner! And my mom was once her level 4 coach! We had so much fun catching up and I’m now confident that if Monroe continues to pursue gymnastics, she’ll have the best place to train! Evergreen Gymnastics, baby!

Then it was back home for more family time.
Which is our favorite.

This is the life.
