The Watering Hole
Another forest adventure!
But this time, the watering hole was our destination!
And we sure found it!
We were invited by our new friends to explore how native North Carolinians spend their hot summer days and we were not for a second disappointed! Well, except for the fact we didn’t have exactly the right footwear for the rocky earth under our feet, nonetheless, we were every bit content with our beautiful discovery.
The water was shallow and gently moving over the rocks—the perfect river water for exploration!
Frogs and tadpoles and snakes, oh my!!
