The Working Smiles
Even though it doesn’t feel like baseball season to us yet, the kiddies love watching Daddy throw at the park. It’s one of my most favorite things too, guys.

Moving update: we filled up the first of our PODS! The team of Adam and I were second rate to that of Adam and Papa, but I feel like it was at least a reasonably close second. We managed to Tetris most of the items we intended to get into this one and are excited to see the progress. We’re getting close to the 24th and we’re nearly done with the hardest part!
Because everything is in such disarray compared to our normal living situation, late Sunday night I found this incredible piece of work tucked under some other papers and things. It reads:
Israel wants a king so God gave Israel a king. The king name is Sall (Saul). Sall is king of Israel. God said to Samul (Samuel) Israel will not have a king. Daved (David) cut ffo (off) the king roeb (robe). Daved gave Sall graes (grace). Daved did not need to give Sall graes.
-Bearett, second grade
We had no idea Bearett had written this and were so encouraged by his listening and understanding of God’s word!!

If we could’ve tasked a picture of our faces in the moment of finding his work, this is what we looked like :)
