The Morning Through the Night
So, I was thinking that maybe I’d give a little insight as to how exactly our school mornings go. But I didn’t think of that until just now, so that will have to wait for another day. Instead, I’ll just say two things: 1. Bearett is nearly always still doing school work when Amelia finishes—the life of a second grader versus a kindergartener—sorry Bub. And yet, usually they’re all still piled in around him even while he continues to work. That is, of course, except for when 2. Mommy generously hands over the iPad for the learning/scholastic Marco Polo app they love so much.
Otherwise, you can find the three of these Conley girls just about anywhere in the house playing House together.

And once his work is complete, it’s all he can do but to sprint to the back where he can scream, and run, and play in the yard. Not long after he retreats, the other neighbor boys filter in one by one, lending to some pretty epic trampoline bounces!

Then it’s back inside for supper and games—this time it was Bearett teaching Daddy how to play with Beyblades. It’s apparently all the rage here in our community. A glorified version of Tops is what it seems to me.

And finally, bed time. But last night was extra special in that it was Molly’s last one spent as a one-year-old!
