Day 3,421

The Two Are One

Yesterday, I got a home gym workout in with my man.

And my little man too.

And then a whole evening ALONE on a date with my man!

On one of the coziest, most relaxing dates we’ve had in, well maybe ever, Adam and I just got to hang out and talk.

Adam asked me to be his girlfriend on a hammock something like 11 years ago. The past comes rushing back whenever I see one, and last night, we got to reminisce in the memories while making new ones. Marriage has been such a joy for us and something we’ve grown to love more and more with each passing day, but I had no idea just how sweet it would be laying on that hammock all those years ago.

I’m so thankful for you and for your resolve to lead me faithfully and lovingly the way God intended you to. You’re so easy to love.

Not far away—actually on the other side of the yard—my kiddies were piled up at their friends house having movie night!

A HUGE thanks to our dear friends who spent time with our babes while we dated in their stunning and incredibly peaceful backyard, enjoying a night they prepared for us! It was the ultimate surprise and a most thought-filled, intentional display of care unto our marriage, leaving me totally speechless. I’m continually in awe of the way the body at CBC loves one another sacrificially and with such joy. It’s the most beautiful thing.

Nine and a half years in and stronger than ever, these Conleys. Praise the Lord.
