Day 3,349

The Wiggles Out

You knew it was going to be a day with lots of photos when this is how it started. Ornery Dad and mischief Molly. Let’s go.

So, I refuse to zoom out of fear of what you might think of our parenting (ha!), nevertheless, their rooms were absolute nightmares that demanded immediate attention.

Daddy took control and insisted they give ten babies away for starters.

Ten, Daddy?!! But we LOVE ALL our babies. They’re our babies, Daddy! They love us! We’re all their mommies! They need us, Dada!
Yeah, through tears they got rid of five.
Note to self and EVERYONE else: NO MORE BABIES!

Once the dust settled in the bedrooms, we needed an energy release. The pool was the natural answer. Dad’s orneriness ended us here. Everyone laughed. Except Bitsy.

Still, we needed to get even more energy out.

Family races were the next best idea.

It didn’t go so well for the Bub.

We got lots of smiles out though. And plenty of wiggles.

And finally, to celebrate our freedom and the faithful service to our military that Grandma gave, we took her out to supper where chopsticks were all the rage, though not a single one of us were proficient in their use. It at least was a show in itself watching the babes attempt to eat with them!

Happy Veterans Day to all those who served—especially Papa, Uncle Jacob, Grandma Katy, Grandpa Larry, and Uncle Jeremy! We love you all and we’re so thankful for everything you sacrificed for our freedoms!! And happy birthday to Morgan too!

To cap it all off, our nightly family devotional took us to the finish line: this time with Mommy as the monster Apollyon in Pilgrim’s Progress
