Day 3,333

The Blue Ridge Goodbye

It was 4:30AM when we closed the door to our Lake Escape cabin and bid farewell to Blue Ridge. It was bittersweet for sure. We’re sure going to miss our friends and the gorgeous views of the mountains, but alas, home and church are calling.

We had such a beautiful time with our baseball family—what a treasure they are to us! The Lord has been so generous to bring into our lives faithful Believers in the ministry that He’s given to us and we rejoice in their pursuit of Him. We are eager to see continued growth and deepened faiths in each of our lives and look forward with great anticipation to the work it’ll take, as we know He’s worthy of it!

We love you, friends!

It took us right around 12 hours of travel to make it back home. Dad has his trusty sidekick next to him the whole way, while exhausted Mom whimped out and didn’t drive not even a mile. Thanks Daddy!

We made three stops—one at an antique mall where the kids got to sift through old fun things, once for coffee at 5AM, and once for breakfast. Good job Conleys!! We had such a fun time with you in the mountains and can’t wait to go back!!
