The Righteous Shall Live By Faith
Eight months ago, they came from all over the country with their husbands to Marlins Spring Training. In March, our church hosted its annual women’s conference, and through the grapevine of my husband to theirs, they were invited to attend. I had only ever met one of them. And as a way to maintain this fellowship and continue learning more about God, we decided to do a book study together on the Attributes of God by A.W. Pink, which was given to us at the conference. Ever since then, the Lord has done an incredible work in every single one of our lives, as the pursuit of knowing Him, loving Him, and hating our sin has deepened in ways I’ve never experienced in baseball. It has easily been our sweetest year of ministry and continues to be such an encouragement. I have four new, eager, and maturing sisters in Christ and I can’t begin to express how thankful I am that the Lord in His mercy and kindness, brought us together. What a joy to witness such faithfulness. Ah. God is good.
