Day 3,298

The Shocking Surprise

Yep. It is. Uh huh. Same.

It eventually was thrown into the lake by Daddy. Little guy was definitely dead. But what an amazing sight to witness! We’ve never seen a bat in the “wild” before and certainly never by our enclosure. But, there he was. Just hanging out. The kids spent the entire morning alongside the bat and were totally fascinated by the rare experience!

Talk about being fascinated. Bub had to go to the ENT to check his ears and he loved it. It’s nearly been a year since his surgery and lately, he’s been experiencing a lot of echoing , pain, and loud popping in his ears. We’re got some remedies to try at home and we’ll report back in a few weeks.

Meanwhile, back at home...we’ve got human Tetris and a toddler chew toy. Totally normal.

Oh, and a baby whip cream disposal too!

We enjoyed a night of fellowship and family after one busy and eventful Monday. And it was just what we needed. We’ve missed our Grammy, Hannah, Kyng, and Tyri!
