“The Bliss of This Glorious Thought”
Yesterday.
Ah, what a good day!
It started off at the gym—Amelia had a cartwheel-a-thon and completed 46 cartwheels in two minutes! I remember just a few short months ago in March when she still didn’t even have one down perfectly, and now, she’s not only doing 46 in a row, but she’s SO close to getting her cartwheel on beam! Impressive little gymnast she’s becoming and it’s such a joy to watch!
And Katesy isn’t far behind! She’s becoming quite the impressive little gymnast as well. At 3 1/2, she can do a bridge all by herself and even has straight arms! Good job Ella Mae!!
Bub uses his open gym time to do everything Ninja style. He’s taking a ninja class once a week since Little League got cancelled and though we’re excited for baseball to start up again, this is the perfect spot for him to be involved in now, as his coordination and body awareness has definitely improved!
She’s nearly got her handstand on beam too!
And most impressive of the day goes to Daddy, who at 30 years old, 6’3” 210Lbs, can do a standing back tuck. Almost. Not too shabby for an old man ;)
Though we had a tremendous morning of fun, our evening was even better. To celebrate and encourage one of our dearest friends as she moves to a new town, we threw her a little going away party. The fellowship and music and laughter and treats were just the perfect way to enjoy our girls before they depart on their new adventure.
We LOVE our Megan and Baby O.
And we sure will miss those gorgeously big smiles.
But the Lord is so good to us and we thank Him always, in all things, knowing that His ways are truly, always better than our own.
“Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say:
It is well, it is well, with my soul!”
Goodnight from the Conleys.
