The Growing Pains of Homeschooling
This picture depicts the early minutes of our homeschooling environment nearly to a T. Amelia is chatter boxing. Bearett is distracted. Ella Mae is shouting “look what I made.” And Molly is begging me to hold her. Meanwhile, the two tiny girls have already ravaged through all the crayons and blocks, leaving them strewn all over the floor and the puppy has probably pooped somewhere unsuspecting.
And yet, by the grace of God, we’re finding ways to thrive nonetheless! It’s still a work in progress, BUT the kids are learning and for the most part, really enjoying their new routine. We are so grateful to have the opportunity that we do to offer a homeschooling education to our children. The workload is costly. But the fruit of our labor is priceless.
School doesn’t usually go past noon, so for the rest of the day, we fill it with fun (and chores, let’s be real here).
