The Conley Quarantine: Day 89
Back to the park!
Only a few more times here before we’ll be whisked away to Miami, leaving our newfound oasis for the rest of summer.
I’m not sure whether to scream or smile either, Amelia.
It’s been an interesting and yet quite fulfilling 89 days at home under “quarantine,” but with Daddy heading back to work on Wednesday, we are on the cusp of a whole new adventure.
That’s us. Excited? Unsure? Prepared?
That’s us. Excited? Unsure? Prepared?
Again, I don’t know either. But ain’t no time like the present to find out!!
We leave Thursday for Miami.
Adam has three weeks of “Spring Training 2.0,” followed by a 60 game season, beginning on July 23 or 24 and ending on September 27. He will be coronavirus-tested every other day for the duration of the season. As of now, I do not believe there will be any fans in the stands—not even family—and rules on top of rules to try and mitigate the spread of COVID.
And so, with much to do and not much time to do it—especially with four miniature tornados running through my house—Grandma and Hannah teamed up to watch our babes for a couple hours last night while Adam and I got to work.
We are so grateful to have her here! Thanks Gammy and TT!
