The Conley Quarantine: Day 86
Dinner date!
We’re not quite well versed in our own town’s local cuisine—spending six months each year away from home does have lasting effects, one being that the desire to eat anywhere but at home is greatly diminished. And so, most of all the local restaurants around us have never been visited by this loud batch of Conleys.
And so, we picked a place with a gorgeous view and bright, fun colors for the kids, thinking we’d hit the jackpot.
And then the food came out.
And we laughed and we ate and we made a few jokes, and immediately decided it was both our first and last time visiting Mulligan’s—at least until they can match the quality of their burger to the price of their burger.
Regardless, we had fun with our family—a date night was just exactly what we needed and we’re thankful to have the ability to live life mostly normal here in our little town, even if our burgers were hockey pucks!
