The Conley Quarantine: Day 71
My early bird makes me smile so often first thing in the morning.
Yesterday was Bub’s first day at home alone with us while his sisters were at church camp. He got to pick his own movie and enjoy it without the influence or disagreement of Amelia and Ella Mae. His choice: Pilgrim’s Progress. The 1978 version. Kid was HOOKED.
My work here is done.
(Kidding. Cmon.)
We’ve had some very busy mornings this past week, adding to a throwing program schedule that’s picking up too. Right now, Adam is throwing two bullpens a week in Jupiter, as well as all the other work here at home. Because it’s been so nasty and wet lately, we’ve had to forsake the park down the street for a much improved ACTUAL field. The kids love it because there’s tons of sand and big huge toys.
And oh, we mustn’t forget about the swings. They’d spend all day here if I’d let them!
We don’t have time for that though—because with busy summer days and hot sticky temperatures, sister nap times are most certainly a necessity.
