Day 3,144

The Conley Quarantine: Day 19

Molly. How? What? What are you eating? Molly?! What is that?! Pete sake. Is that a cookie? Wait. You snuck...a cookie? A whole entire cookie? But. But. How?? Those were on the counter, Molly. Oh Molly.

Can’t blame her though.
Nothing like a good cookie.
I just don’t know how she possibly could’ve retrieved it on her own. Aye.

The kids day wasn’t quite as good as a warm chocolate chip cookie, but they sure enjoyed it anyways. It started with their favorite “gutter dirt.” Boy do they love our neighbor’s drainage sand.

When the winds quickly picked up to gusts in the 50s, we got them inside in haste...but not before they celebrated the incoming of a huge Florida storm.

We legitimately had a tornado warning in our area. And one of my girlfriends - who lives just 10 minutes from me - had an ACTUAL tornado hit on the street she lives on! Nobody was hurt, but goodness, that was such a powerful, fascinating show of God’s creation. And the kids loved every minute...except the part where they had to get off the trampoline and out of the water due to huge flashes of lightning!
