The Emptiest Shelf
....So...
It’s really happening.
The Coronavirus has made its presence known and we’re feeling it already.

With each passing day, the shutdowns grow in number as do the cases of the virus. I’m hopeful that the abundance of precaution will prove prudent in the days to come, but hoping too that mass hysteria and panic don’t cloud our judgement either.

Due to the nature of the current landscape of well, the world, you can find us mostly just hanging out at home and enjoying the little things in life. I encourage you too, to approach this time with your family in the same way! Have fun. Love on your kids. Be silly. Let them make your coffee. Sing. Dance. Play games. Swim. Pray. Read. Do school! If you’ve got the time with them now and if you must be home, might as well make the most of it, right?!
Right!
So make those meals, eat all together, do that thing that you’ve been wanting to do for a while that you haven’t had time for yet. Spring clean?!
Whatever you do and regardless of what happens, we can face this real life scare with timidity and trepidation, or we can enjoy the time that we DO have now and smile at those precious faces smiling back at us. A life lived in fear is a life of chains and shackles. In Christ, I am free to enjoy my days just as they’re meant to be enjoyed, knowing that at the end of them - whenever that might be - I will be reunited to the Lord God in an eternity of blissful praise of His name.
