The Goodbyes That Still Hurt
One last day of smiles with our grandparents!
Because yesterday, we had to say bye again to Grandma and Big Strong Papa.
And as always, we’ll miss them so much.
Because, no matter how hard we try, our fake smiles (Amelia) always give us away. It’s hard living so far away from the ones we love. And my kids know the feeling well.
But we love the Lord most and He has us firmly planted in Florida and so, we just learn how to say “see you soon” really well. Even though it hurts. We’ll miss you and we love you and we had so much fun. Even when it was hard. Thank you for coming. So much. And much like all the times before, we can’t wait to see you again :)
