Day 2,849

The Thirtieth of June

We said one last goodbye to Daddy before the All-Star break. Only six more days and we get to have Dada all to ourselves for FOUR WHOLE DAYS! Conleys are about to partaaaaaaay! And by party, I mean sleep. And by sleep, I mean...“sleep” in a bed usually comprised at some point in the night by 4 people. So really what I’m saying is...Conleys will not be sleeping. Or partying. Probably. But, we WILL be together. And I think that’s better than both.

We did, however, party hard last night.
Bearett proved this fact by successfully sneaking three helpings of rootbeer float while Mama played in our church’s Fourth of July kickball game. Ok, checkmark. The boy apparently loves soda. He was on his fourth soda fill-up before Ms. Hannah caught him LITERALLY red-handed (the cup ha!) and stopped the madness.

The madness didn’t stop with Bearett though. These girls brought some madness themselves to the game!

Bubba pitched.

And Sissy kicked that ball just as mad hard as she could. And then she ran. And ran and ran. And scored!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love this church?

We had kickball and BBQ and fellowship and floats and fireworks and sparklers. The best Fourth of July Thirtieth of June yet.

God is just so kind.
