The Best VBS
If you couldn’t tell by the mounded laundry pile or the confused, sleepy child who immediately wakes up the second I sneak out of the room to prepare myself for the day before anyone else wakes up: yesterday was the last day of VBS.
And my goodness, we’re tired, but I can’t think of a better reason why!!!! The children shared SUCH a sweet time with our church body this week. I say it often, but after this week and seeing the church active in ways that I’ve not ever been able to be apart of yet...I just absolutely love these people and their intentional pursuit of faithfully teaching the Bible, no matter the context or setting!
Thank you for caring so dearly about our children, CBC. We LOVE you! And we apparently love serving in the tear down of VBS as well!
The kids went right to work, taking things down, putting things away, picking up trash, and they even fought over who got to vacuum. Truth. Please, never change, my dears. Ha!
Not wanting the fun and fellowship to end, we capped off our favorite week with supper at the Shells.
I am one thankful Mama.
And they are some happy kids.
The Lord is so good.
