The Tiny Dad in the Rectangle Box
Any chance I can get them sleeping together is a plus in my book. And not just for the cuteness factor either! As of now, when Adam is home, there are four humans occupying our bed. And so, when Daddy isn’t here, I do my best to get Ella Mae and Amelia to practice sleeping together with the goal that Ella Mae will soon be sleeping in bed with her big sister and not with her Mama and Dada anymore. I’ll give it about, oh, six months.

I remember sleeping nearly every night in a bed filled with girls growing up. My sisters and I would pile into my queen bed from probably the ages of 7-12 and I look back on those times fondly. Though, just as Molly is expressing, we were often tired because we kept each other awake at night time. We’ll have to work on that in the future. For now, this is good.

This is not good.
I turn the water off. Five minutes later, I walk in and the water is nearly overflowing the tub, with water up to their necks. NO MA’AMs!

If y’all want some water to play in, we have a HUGE bathtub for your splashing and jumping pleasure. But please, just leave my faucets be!

Though at times things around here get a little iffy while Daddy is away, we’re doing our best to keep up with him and him with us every chance we get. Molly is becoming more and more familiar with FaceTime now.

“Wait Mom, is that...is that who I think it is?! Lemme get a better view. Move it closer. Sure sounds like him!”

“DAD!! DAD! YOUR HEAD SHRUNK! AND WHERE’S THE REST OF YOUR BODY?! I am so confused. But that IS my Dad and he keeps showing up on that small thing Mom is always carrying around. Weird. I wish he would just be normal sized again.”
