The Mess
Note the poop-filled diaper seeping out the sides and onto my bathroom floor. An early morning explosion is how we started the day. But at least she did it before taking a shower this time.

The day just sort of kept going this way. Anybody know how to get EXPO marker out of grout?

Or peanut butter oil out of pavers?
(Turns out my little bird feeder-makers aren’t quite skilled in the art of careful drippy peanut butter application onto pine cones)

Or how about a cure for puke in JUST WASHED and drying hair?

It was a strange and messy day. I did manage to find a few moments to laugh it off, though it was quite exhausting. When we went into Amelia’s room to check on her before going to bed, this is how we found her. Pajamas off with her pajama shirt wrapped around a baby and then placed neatly into the front of her pull-up? Can’t make this stuff up!

Yesterday’s highlight:
Our last appointment at Abundant Life Birthing Center with our dearly loved midwives, Miss Cynda and Miss Maya. We have cherished and appreciated their care and support over the last two years and are so thankful for their wisdom in helping us bring new life into the world. We’ll miss them so much - both were present at Ella Mae and Molly’s births and they’ve become almost like family to us. BUT, as far as Adam and I are concerned, we won’t be seeing them much anymore...at least not as midwives. This messy family of 6 is our joy...but I’m not sure we can handle much more!! ;) Love you, ladies and we’ll miss you!
