The LEGO Family
Still no baby. But I did tell the kids that when I’m in labor in the pool - right in the middle of this room - they can bring their legos out and quietly play while I work on birthing this babe. They decided they didn’t want to wait for then and brought all the legos out last night instead. Maybe they just wanted to get used to the idea of playing in the living room since they’re mostly always confined to Bear’s room to play with them? Or maybe they just wanted to be extra close to the grown ups - especially Grandma? Regardless, it turned into a family ordeal, which meant thousands of legos scattered among twelve hands, all in the quest of building the perfect creation. And it was great. I love watching their little minds imagine. Truly, they come up with some fascinating and impressive things and I’m just so proud of them. Can’t wait to see what they create while I’m preoccupied with labor!
