The Spring Preparations
We made our first trip to the good ol Roger Dean yesterday. Dad’s getting close to needing to start throwing to a legitimate catch partner (Mama’s 38 week tummy is getting the boot!) and so we decided to go together as a family down to Jupiter to intentionally begin preparing the babes’ hearts and minds for the season and changes ahead.
With refreshed memories of where Dad will be working at for Spring Training, the kids enjoyed their open field of fun and wonder. We’re still clinging on to the last month we have with Daddy before we start our 2019 adventures in baseball, as I’m not so sure I’m as ready to take on this season as I’ve been in the past, but I trust that whatever the Lord has for us this year, we’ll be made more like Him in the process and that’s all that really matters. So get ready Conleys. It’s coming.
