The Youthful Innocence
Just like Mommy...
...I have three babies.
And just like Mommy, I’m obsessed with them!!
A sweet morning ended with a sweet evening.
It was family worship night at church as we celebrated alongside Mrs. Crickett, who just turned 102! Even the babes who came got to sing a song of praise to the Lord and in celebration. Bearett was cool about it as he inched closer and closer to the microphone, eventually overtaking it and blasting the congregation with a sudden jolt of unexpected song. Everyone shrieked and then proceeded with laughter.
They also laughed at my daughter’s not-so-cool approach to her public singing jitters, as her dress wound more and more tightly around her hands. We’re still in the process of learning modesty? Turns out she doesn’t have many experiences with the stage and the fright that can accompany it, but last night indeed proved to be a teachable moment. I guess I’m thankful for it now while she’s still 3!
