The Big Little Things

Since we’ve nearly completed our return back to the world of civilized scheduled nap and bedtimes (1:30 and 9pm!), the kids have been up from naps around 4:30 and are finally able to enjoy the hours before suppertime...OUTSIDE!! 

In Miami, more or less, the kids weren’t much “allowed” outside when they woke up from naps due to the severity of the mosquito population down where we lived at 6PM and without a screened patio. Amelia’s reactions are so bad that I’d never see the end of Benadryl if I kept letting them go outside right at dusk. So, Mom got wise, became the bad guy, and forced them to play inside when we woke up. 



Not anymore! Here, we have at least two hours before the mosquitos start becoming a problem PLUS a screened patio! Oh, how the little things sure do become big things. We’re so happy to be home.
