The Gloom
PNC Park by (rainy) day.
The weather nearly caused a wrinkle in our family night plans.
And the breakfast restaurant tried hard to derail us too, after waiting 45 minutes - after ordering - for the kids’ first meal of the day. It was delicious though. And free. And only two kids cried, so I’ll take it.
But though they tried, nothing managed to stop us from seeing Daddy at the field and trying out Ella Mae’s new travel car seat. Not the rain. Not empty bellies. Not the fact that I totally butchered Ella Mae’s first ride in her seat by installing it less than perfectly.
We froze our tails off at the game, but it was app worth it when we got to bus home with Daddy and spend the rest of the night playing with him. We love you so much Dada!!
