The Family Room First
We ate supper all together in the family room at the field and then...
This mommy left those three tiny kids in the family room and sat at the game for an entire hour by myself. I’m still in shock over it. Not only did the kids not cry, they actually enjoyed it. Like, what? Since when?! I will say that though this has only happened once in over a year with the three of them and though it won’t probably happen on anywhere near a regular basis from here on forward, it sure was a nice to just sit. Yes, just sit. And do mostly nothing. I’m coming to terms with the fact that sometimes as a mama, it’s ok to have some help when you need it. And some alone time too. Some. Just a little. Tiny bit. Hahaha ;)
