The Florida Marlins
Adam was drafted in 2011 by the Florida Marlins, one year before they’d change both their name and color scheme in 2012 to the orange, blue, and yellow Miami Marlins. From as early as I can remember, my favorite color was teal. I liked it so much, it was one of our wedding colors, even prior to knowing he’d be drafted to the Florida Marlins. So you can imagine our excitement and nostalgia when the now Miami Marlins brought back the “retro” jerseys for the celebration of the club’s 25th anniversary. The comparison is none: these jerseys are INCREDIBLE!!
We even got our kids rockin the teal while sitting out by Dada in the bullpen.
She says, “OH YEAH BABY.”
“Just give me teal, pizza, and baseball and I’ll never cry.”
Such fun!

And to be celebrating with these three babes who weren’t even a blip on the radar all those years ago: priceless.
