Day 2,429

The Man Time, The Girl Time

Always the last ones out of church. But always together and that’s what I love most.

After lunch with some friends, Bearett was invited to go fishing at the beach. I love our church so much. Knowing that Bearett was probably needing some man time, two of our friends at CBC took Bearett with them and spent the entire afternoon with him.

He had such a sweet time with our friends.

The taught him how to cast a line and reel in fish...and the boy caught not just one, but two!

What a day! We are SO incredibly thankful for the community surrounding us and for the intentionality in serving our family, especially when Dad’s not here. We are blessed by their faithfulness and care and praise the Lord for such a serious-minded, dear church body.

Meanwhile, GIRL TIME!

SO MUCH GIRL TIME!
However, when we left Bearett yesterday afternoon, Amelia started crying saying, “I just want my brother back.” MY HEART. Ah. She was so worried he wasn’t coming back, as she’s never been away from Bearett for more than an hour probably. I held her and promised that we’d see him at night church. You should’ve seen her smile when she finally saw him again! I LOVE THEIR FRIENDSHIP.
