The Calm
Veggie Tales in the driver’s seat while Mom vacuums truckloads of sand and dirt and LEGO’s and cashews out of the crevices of my toddlers back seat confines. The things you find...my goodness.

While the girls vacuumed, the boys washed.
“Brush like this, Son.”

“OK DADA!!!!”

Dad got to be home a little earlier yesterday, so we did some chores, ate an early supper, and made it to evening service at our church like normal! These are the little things that turn into big things. We’re sure going to miss being able to be attending and fellowshipping every few days like we’ve come to love.
Sunday nights, all children ages 3 and up sit in church with their parents. We always bring some sort of (mostly) quiet activity for the kids to do while we listen to the sermon. Yesterday, we brought pens and paper and stickers and crayons. Bearett asked me what he should draw. I said, “Jesus and his church.” Uhm, nailed it. Check out Jesus’ hair, y’all. I love my boy!
