The Snot Rocket
She finally let me put her down - a sign of good things ahead, as she’s not let me take a finger off her since the onset of her fever. I managed to sneak very ninja-esque away for a few minutes before she realized I was gone. I managed one load of folded laundry in the timeframe. Win.
She woke up to a date with the pool. I’ve not had her in lessons since the middle of last week, but thought she would be up for it finally, now that she’s just battling congestion. If swimming wasn’t the best idea ever!!! Our saltwater pool acted as the perfect saline rinse and this girl had the snotty mucus coming out of ALL directions. Relief at last! Sorry for the visual, but this was a HUGE victory for the five of us!
The big kids found some victory as well in their refresher lessons with Mrs. Gina. We’re excited to be back in the pool again abs safely!
